It was a fateful Tuesday. It was as if everything stood still, we no longer felt the safety we had prior to that first plane hitting on Sept. 11, 2001. Eleven years later, we will never forget the innocent people and brave servicemen that were lost.
Instead of dwelling on the hate and tragedy of that day, we choose to remember how Americans came together in the aftermath, how everyone seemed to have compassion. There was a mutual understanding that you could feel with just eye contact. People were open and wanting to connect with each other. There was a feeling hat we are all in this together, that we all want to help each other, comfort each other because in the core of each of us there is hope, compassion and love for our fellow man.
Datavo will never forget.
